IBM watsonx announcement earlier today by Arvind aims to make it easy for users to deploy AI into their applications by providing pre-built and open-source models as well as provisioning resources and benchmarking. This platform comprises three key components: 

• IBM watsonx.ai studio – helps you create base models, leverage IBM curated and trained foundation models. Let’s you build upon Hugging Face’s open-source libraries and thousands of Hugging Face open models and datasets.

• IBM watsonx.data – data store built on an open lakehouse architecture. It enables the gathering and cleansing of training and tuning data. Access your structured and unstructured data through a single point of entry and run multiple fit-for-purpose query engines across your IT environments.

• IBM watsonx.governance – An AI governance toolkit to enable trusted AI workflows. It provides clients with a mechanism to protect customer privacy, proactively detect model bias and help them meet their ethics standards. In addition, it provides the documentation necessary to drive transparent and explainable outcomes.

With IBM diverse customer base, hybrid cloud deployments, strong consulting experience and IBM Research underpinning AI and data platform, I strongly believe we at IBM are at strong footing to help our clients unlock new level of productivity for every employee using #generativeai.
